Bareframe Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Work

Bareframe provides website structure, layout, formatting, and basic on-page configuration.

Clients are responsible for providing all text, images, product details, certifications, and business information. Bareframe does not create marketing claims or regulatory statements unless separately agreed.

Work outside the agreed scope may require additional quotation.

2. Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required before work begins.

The remaining 50% is required before the website is published.

Work will not proceed to the next phase until payment is received.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

3. Revisions

Each project includes four (4) structured revision rounds.

Each revision round must be submitted as one consolidated list.

Major structural redesigns or additional pages are considered scope changes and may incur additional fees.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing original content and materials

  • Ensuring accuracy of business information

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Responding in a timely manner to maintain project timeline

Delays in content submission may extend the completion timeline.

5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All website design, structure, and configuration work remains the property of Bareframe until full payment of all agreed fees has been received.

Upon full payment, ownership of the completed website transfers to the client.

Bareframe reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Hosting & Domain

Clients are responsible for hosting and domain fees unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Bareframe is not responsible for third-party platform outages or service disruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

Bareframe is not liable for:

  • Legal compliance of client-provided content

  • Copyright infringement from materials supplied by the client

  • Business performance or search engine ranking outcomes

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

9. Minimum Engagement Period

Bareframe services include a minimum engagement period of three (3) months.

This period allows sufficient time for website configuration, content stabilisation, search engine indexing, and baseline performance assessment.

Cancellation may be requested after the initial three (3) month period. Any cancellation prior to completion of this period does not waive outstanding agreed fees.
